Well done to our Year 7 boys who defeated Ponteland 6 – 1 in the County Cup to book a place in the Semi-Finals away to Gosforth or Ovingham. Goals from Matthew G (2), Dan K, Aidan P, Jack W and Callum W.
The year 8 boys football team have continued their defence of the County Cup with an excellent 4-1 win away to Ovingham recently. With 3 absences the squad only had 13 fit players, but every single player, contributed to a terrific performance. A goal from Matty S in the first half ensured we went in at half time with the scores level at 1-1. The boys then put in their best performance of the season in the second half creating numerous chances. Goals from Dylan F, Harry L and Jordan H ensured that the boys progress into the semi final, which will take place after half term. Well done from Mr Christensen!
Huge congratulations to our Yr11 girls team who were victorious against Flixton HS winning 4-1 in Manchester with all 4 goals coming from Jade D. A brilliant team performance. Thanks to Flixton school who were lovely and were kind enough to provide cake and hot chocolate after the game – the girls now progress to the semi finals. Well done from Miss Pendlebury.
