Our students in years 7 and 8 have recently been involved in science sessions with our local primary schools. Our year 7 STEM girls group (one of our after school clubs) have been involved in a year 6 transition day, held at CLV, assisting the younger students in workshops and delivering parts of the sessions themselves during the day. 10 year 8 students visited Cragside Primary to take part in their science week with year 1 students. The students led a number of experiments and the year 1 teachers commented on how good they were with their explanations and also their confidence in speaking to younger students.
