Job Purpose:

Cramlington Learning Village is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Business and Finance Director to undertake a key role within the Academy Trust. The successful candidate will provide strategic vision and leadership for all business areas of the Academy Trust and will therefore have significant experience of operational management within a complex organisation.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for all support staff across the Academy, working closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body and be a vital part of the Senior Leadership Team. The Business and Finance Director will be the Chief Financial Officer for the Academy Trust.
The ideal candidate will have:
•  a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification;
•  significant experience of contributing at a strategic level to business improvement;
•  highly developed negotiating and influencing skills;
•  demonstrable track record of securing additional funds through competitive bidding.
