View the piece of workTDU - Are We America's Lapdog - 7Mb MP3
This was the outcome of a Year 8 students research into the question “Are We America’s Lapdog?” and it perfectly encapsulates what TDU is about. The lyrics show evidence that the student has independently studied a number of sources and drawn their own conclusion by synthesising his findings. The student worked in a medium in whichthey felt comfortable i.e. Music shows how versatile TDU can be in terms of how students choose to present their findings.
View the piece of workArt - Photography - Urban Landscapes
Photography final piece is from a Year 13 student. The piece is the final piece of a project called Urban Landscapes, and it is a series of eight colour photographs presented together and framed. The work represents high quality learning because it is the final outcome of a project which saw the student taking hundreds of photographs of urban structures in and around the North East, and this how successfully she developed their ideas.

View the piece of workMusic - Composition - 8Mb MP3
An integrated assignment piece for GCSE music. The aim of the piece was to compose a pop song that relied on an instrumental riff for it’s effect. The riff was also to have a strong sense of rhythm and melody. The piece is incredibly inventive in the way it uses filter sweeps on his synth riff, and the use of digital effects on the vocals.
