Huge congratulations to the KS3 girls’ badminton squad who represented the school brilliantly in the National Schools Championship Finals this weekend.
The girls progressed to the National Finals after winning both the County and Regional Tournaments earlier this year.
The tournament took place at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes with schools from all over the country competing at KS3 and KS4 level. The girls put in hours of extra practice in the lead up to the tournament and did themselves and the school proud; battling hard all day and finishing a very credible 9th.
Well done to the squad – Sara, Ava, Maylun, Charlotte and Morgan.
