The match took place at Newcastle University\u2019s Sports Grounds where both teams contested the final of a competition that was first established in 1912. The 102-year-old Blake Challenge Cup was won by Cramlington after a magnificent first half performance in which K Ross and C Spooner gave their side a 2-0 half time lead. St Cuthbert\u2019s fought back well and pulled a goal back before causing some anxious moments in the closing stages of the match but it wasn\u2019t enough to prevent a Cramlington win.<\/p>\n
The whole squad were terrific and are already looking forward to next season.
