Cramlington Learning Village produced an excellent set of GCSE results this year with 70% of all students achieving the benchmark pass grade in both English and Maths. 78% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and 78% also achieved this standard in Maths. In Maths, almost one quarter of all students achieved a grade 7 or above.<\/p>\n

Two-thirds of students achieved the benchmark of 5 standard passes or above with at least a grade 4 in English and Maths.<\/p>\n

\nThere were some spectacular individual performances with 20 students achieving 8 or more grades of A*\/A\/7\/8\/9, including triplets, Erin, Niamh and Ella Robson, who between them amassed 27 grades of A*\/A\/7\/8\/9.<\/p>\n

Mrs Heslop, headteacher, said, \u2018This is a very pleasing set of results for the school.\u00a0 The new exams in many subjects have been challenging for both students and staff and they have performed incredibly well.\u00a0 I am delighted with the results of the whole year group, which reflect their hard work and commitment.\u2019<\/p>\n
