Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking to appoint a hardworking, reliable and caring person who can encourage and motivate young people. Applicants should be able to work as part of a team to support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students. This could be on an individual basis or as part of classroom support and could involve working with students with a variety of needs including visual impairments, ASD or ADHD. 

Applicants should have a basic knowledge of SEND and barriers to learning. Experience of working in an education background would be beneficial. 

The post is available on a fixed term basis until 17 July 2026.  The hours of work are 35 hours per week term time only plus 6 call in days.

Cramlington Learning Village was graded Good in all categories in its last Ofsted Inspection. 

 

Salary: CLV Band 3 £20,337 - £20,659 per annum (actual) (£24,790 - £25,183 per annum full time equivalent)
