Technician - Art

Job Description:

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and highly skilled technician to support the Art department. The person appointed will support teachers and students within practical aspects of their work across the Art Curriculum.  Experience of working with a wide range of materials and processes would be beneficial. Art is a very popular subject area for students and the technician needs to liaise effectively and consistently with staff in the department each day, accurately assessing their requirements in terms of materials, equipment and support. 

Full training and certification will be provided as well as comprehensive training in specialist equipment.  

The post is available on a temporary, term time only contract until 17 July 2026, 20 hours per week plus 5 call in days.

Teacher for Internal Alternative Provision

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to manage the school’s alternative education provision, which caters for students in Key Stage 3. Students join us for short term placements before transitioning back to our mainstream provision.  You will help shape an inclusive high quality learning environment and contribute to developing a range of support and provision so that all children thrive and can be successful.  We are looking for an inspirational teacher so that our children, especially those who struggle to access the mainstream attend well and make the progress that helps them succeed in life.  They will ensure and maintain a positive, calm learning environment, playing a vital role in shaping the curriculum, behaviour management and pastoral care to help our students achieve their full potential. 

The post is available on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027.

Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish)

Required for September 2025 we require an outstanding teacher of French and/or Spanish to join a strong Modern Foreign Languages Department. The successful applicant will join an experienced department with an excellent track record at GCSE and ‘A’ Level. 

The position is available on a temporary, full time basis until 31 August 2026 (maternity cover).

Pastoral Coordinator

Job Description:

We require an outstanding Pastoral Coordinator to support the pastoral team, focusing on helping all students aspire and achieve.  You will be required to monitor the individual progress of all students, with a focus on the progress of children who are in care or have previously been in care. You will  be proactive in establishing a calm and purposeful learning environment and be confident co-ordinating home/school/professional links over a range of issues. You will help students engage with their learning and coordinate intervention in classrooms. In particular, you will help support those students who are in care or who have been in care previously providing them with a safe space and the opportunities to achieve their potential. 

The post is available on a permanent, full time, term only basis plus 10 call in days.
