Students in Year 7 and Year 8 were given an Art challenge to create a piece of artwork inspired by the castle linked to their school house – Alnwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne or Warkworth. They could use any materials or techniques, for example – a detailed pencil drawing, an expressive watercolour painting, a collage using paper or fabric, a digital piece, a 3D recycled material model, some sewing or knitting, a clay model, lego, a cake etc.
We received some wonderful work which is currently on display in our JLV foyer.
