Our Yr7 and 8 ‘Arty People’ have been working with local artists, Juliet and Jamie Gutch, and Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to design a sculpture, ‘A Murmuring of Starlings’, which has just been installed in Cramlington’s new Emergency Care Centre which opens in June. The five metre high sculpture, commissioned as part of the Trusts’ Healing Arts Programme, is a mobile suspended from the ceiling in the main entrance of the hospital.
